Most important news first: Boo's been standing on her own! She's not taking steps or anything, but she can let go and stand up on her own pretty good.

I discovered this a couple of days ago, when she was standing holding on to her World Conquest Command Center (one of those little Fisher-Price table thingies with the knobs and shapes) with one hand and holding a toy in the other. I offered her an apple-flavored wagon wheel, which she wanted, but for which she wasn't about to relinquish the toy. So, she let go of the Command Center, got the wagon wheel, and stood there to eat it. The only downside was that I couldn't get to the video camera before she sat down.

Froze 14 cups of bananas last night. The local international market sells bananas for 25 cents a pound, and I got over 12 pounds. 14 cups of Gerber bananas cost $34. I paid less than $4 for the ones I froze. *Pets freezer*

Updated my knitting gallery on the website. It's been about four years since I added new pictures, and most of the stuff up there is older than that now. This update is something of a monument to geekhood. There's a Dr. Who scarf (and the pattern), a Predators scarf, and a hat with Earth's Stargate address knitted on it. When knitting and geeking collide....

I realized I didn't include my usual "how gaming went" musing, mostly, I think, because not a whole lot of gaming actually got done. ;) We started late because a) there were a couple of late arrivals, b) one of the players was occupied with taking care of her four-month-old, and c) we were having too much fun yakking. So, entertainment-wise, it was a good evening, even if we only got halfway into the one-shot before calling it quits around midnight.

Edited to fix cut tag. I always forget the quotation marks....

Gaming was fun, if brief. I think I will enjoy playing Hiraku with that crew. They are all crazy.

BTW - You mentioned once wanted to see some of my writing. Did you have anything in particular that you wanted to see? Or a preferred format?

Hey, sorry for not replying sooner. I got sidetracked.

I'm actually not sure what all you've written. Everything you've ever mentioned sounds interesting, so pretty much whatever you want to share would be great.

As for formatting, to be honest I think print would be easiest, if that won't be too much of a pain for you. If not, then my preferred mode for electronic text is plain ASCII. I don't have a sophisticated word processor at the moment, so any .doc files would be...challenging. :) If it would be easier for you to e-mail, you can either paste into an e-mail or send a .txt attachment to either of my iprimus accounts.

Thanks!
