I didn't want to jinx myself by posting about it until I'd actually, you know, done it, but I'd like to announce that I'm participating in the

The main reason I'm doing this is that I've had a horrible bout of something that isn't, apparently, carpal tunnel (long story) in my left wrist for nearly two months now. I can't knit. I can't type more than a few sentences (this post took three sessions to type). I can't knit. And, worst of all, I CAN'T KNIT.
I managed to keep myself busy with various non-knitting, non-writing projects for about five weeks, then I really started to get down about it. It was about that time that I began to think that if I can't type, I can still talk. So, I considered just recording all the stuff I wanted to say, kind of a watered-down personal LJ podcast. Then I started thinking about podfic. And then the

I'm now starting to record my fanfic and post it to the

Anyway, if you're at all interested in audio fanfic, go to the Amplificathon community and check it out. It's only been about a week and there are already tons of stories posted in some darned obscure fandoms. (Unfortunately, I haven't had time to actually *listen* because I've been recording, there's irony for you...)
