I did have a problem swallowing the ease with which Daniel and Lee a) figured out where the super-secret alien technology was, b) found the temple and c) recovered the device (watery death traps aside). It was just a little too pat.

I'd would complain that TPTB seem to be using the expedient of Daniel's smokin' hot bod to distract us from the huge honkin' plot holes ("Beneath the Surface" anyone?), except we got primo eye candy. Yeah, the story had some questionable aspects, but they gave us a Daniel buffet that will be fueling pervalicious thoughts in the long months to come. This is never of the bad.
