Here are the panel notes for my Hpericon panel "Issues in Online Fandom." Since it was a panel about on-line discussion, naturally there are numerous links, and handing out a densly typed sheet of URLs would just be cruel. So, here they are:
The Harry Potter Lexicon Legal Battle
Thanks to
cleolinda, fandom_wank has the best overall coverage of this particular issue. For a list of all the posts
cleolinda made to fandom_wank, you can use the "this is the wank that never ends" tag and start at the bottom.
You can also read the Lexicongate entry at the Fandom Wank Wiki. It has a summary of the whole business, and a list of all the fandom_wank reports.
A word about fandom_wank. Fandom_wank is a community created for the purpose of mocking, for finding the funny in fandom keruffles. While this means that a fandom_wank entry will often have the most comprehensive list of links, screencaps and information, it should not be in any way confused with a serious effort at journalism. No, really.
cleolinda does a good job of being even-handed in her Lexicon reports, but be aware that the community as a whole will not necessarily be unbiased, serious or fair in the comments. Caveat lector.
The Open-Source Boob Project
Because sexism is one of the subjects that even fandom_wank won't touch with a ten-foot pole (it being hard to find the funny in sexism),
melannen posted a comprehensive list of links over at unfunnybusiness. The orginal post by
theferret is here.

Sadly, there really isn't a one-stop link shop for this. There was a report written up for unfunnybusiness, but it was light on links and heavy on bias. This report, however, prompted a rebuttal in wankitywank. The wankitywank report is probably the best cental link dump.
There were also a few discussions linked on
metafandom on May 30, 2008 and June 2, 2008.
