For [livejournal.com profile] coreopsis, some Torchwood recs. You requested long, plotty first time Jack/Ianto, so I've tried to indicate when stories were not, perhaps, long or plotty or first time. I got to somewhere around the M's in my Torchwood folder, so there'll be a second post in the future.

Airavanya. "Upheaval" Not first time, but long and plotty

Asrai. "Night Starts Here." After Jack leaves at the end of Series 1, Ianto is transferred to Torchwood Two. Ianto-centric.

Crystalshard. "Constant as the Changing Weather." Jack is Ianto's mentor at Torchwood One.

Derryderrydown. "Pobol y Ffaglcoedwig." I thought this was a nifty idea when I read it. Now it's canon. :)

Calathea. "Before." A short, introspective piece.

Giddygeek. "Broader than the Flood." First time, not terribly long, but sexy

Giddygeek. "Sun in the Sky." Season 1 story. It's not exactly a first time, but it has that sensibility, if that makes any sense.

Kaneko. "Lost and Found." Quirky and interesting.

Melina. "Distraction." A nice sexy first time piece.

Misslucyjane. "Lovers in a Dangerous Time." For some reason I remember waffling about reccing this series, but now I can't remember why. So, proceed with caution?

Misslucyjane. "The Torchwood Patient." Ianto/Captain Jack Harkness (the other one). Not exactly cheerful, but I liked this one.

Misslucyjane. "Sir." Short character piece.

Nightanddaze. "Catharsis." Frottage in a bathroom stall. 'Nuff said.

Paperclipbitch. "That Old Black Magic." Long and quirky, with some really nice writing and images. FYI, this is more Ianto-centric that most of the other stuff I've recced, and there's some Owen/Ianto.

Sam_storyteller. "Trying to Communicate." Okay, this has been recced everywhere, but it's still funny.

Xtricks. "What Lies Within." Tentacle!sex. Nice and long and plotty. The link is to the Epilogue, because there are links to all the other parts there. You may have already seen this one because it's been recced everywhere. I found the formatting a bit off-putting, but since I save most stuff and read it as plain text, the formatting wasn't there to bother me for long.
